Foundation Member – The Runners Hub
The Runners Hub is a running specialist store based on the Wirral in the north-west of England. The store sells a variety of running shoes from brands such as Brooks, Hoka, Saucony, Inov-8, True Motion and many more as well as apparel, equipment and wearable tech. Established since 2016 Nigel, the owner, is a runner himself (as are all the staff who work there) and a UK Athletics running coach specialising in fell running (his junior squad won the English Junior Fell Championships in 2022 as well as a couple of individual titles). He is also a Corrective Exercise Specialist working within the Anatomy in Motion system and assesses and treats local runners with ongoing, persistent running related injuries and is the author of the book ‘My Border Collie Doesn’t Stretch’ (and is featured in Richard Askwith’ s book ‘A Race Against Time’).
As well as the store and treatment room there are regular workshops on runners’ strength and mobility and The Runners Hub also organises a number of local running events including the gruelling Excalibur Marathon (as well as a half marathon and a 10k option) held every May in North-East Wales in the Clwydian hills.
