On steps out with Real Energy campaign for new Cloudmonster collection

Swiss sportswear brand On has introduced Real Energy, an international campaign marking the arrival of the third generation of its Cloudmonster collection.

The campaign is inspired by the ‘energizing sensation’ of the Cloudmonster 3, Cloudmonster 3 Hyper, and LightSpray Cloudmonster 3 Hyper. According to the company, the campaign celebrates the energy that people turn to running for and the energy they get back in return.

Real Energy aims to… ‘move away from the performative hustle of modern run culture, instead focusing on the momentum carried into everyday life beyond the miles.’

The campaign film was directed by Rawtape, also known as Rory Wood, with stills captured by Leon Prost. The film follows athletes, such as OAC Europe athlete Luke McCann, through the rituals that shape a run. The soundtrack for the film is ‘Lights Burn Dimmer’ by Fred again.. and Jamie T.

The next generation of Cloudmonster is supported by apparel and accessories across On’s Zero, Performance, and Volt collections. These are designed to move across varied runs and distances.

The Zero collection includes lightweight apparel items such as the Zero Jacket, Zero Singlet, and Zero Short Tights. The Performance collection features training staples including the Performance Tights 7/8, Climate Zip Hoodie, and Performance Long-T. The Volt collection includes the Performance Volt Jacket, Performance Volt T, and Performance Volt Shorts.

The Real Energy campaign launched on March 5, 2026, alongside the Cloudmonster 3. This will be followed by the Cloudmonster Hyper unveiling on March 19, 2026. The LightSpray Cloudmonster 3 Hyper has a limited release on www.on.com and in On retail stores in North America on March 5, 2026, ahead of a full international launch on April 16, 2026.

On is also launching a new international relay series called On Squad Race this spring 2026. Organised by On, the series kicks off in Beijing on April 11, 2026. Here, a 4×4 relay race format will bring together 600 squads across 20 cities on spiral courses intended to test speed and endurance. Leading teams will progress to a World Finale in Los Angeles, CA.
