RIA Member – North v South
North v South is a 5-day relay race from Edinburgh to Cardiff to London, where two teams go head-to-head in the ultimate Northern v Southern rivalry.
We finish at our own London afterparty, Finish Line Festival, which is a celebration of community, competition and the huge achievement.
It is an age-old rivalry bringing people together. More than a race it’s about community, doing good and celebrating every step. It’s open to all abilities. The only race where you might see Olympian Phil Sesemann handing the baton to someone running their first ever half marathon.
The event began in 2019 as a charity football match supporting men’s mental health. When one of founders Andy, an 800m runner, was diagnosed with incurable cancer, we shifted. Maggie’s helped him live life fully, and we started organising running events to give back. Since then, we’ve raised over £130,000 for Maggie’s and mental health charities.
We’re building North v South into one of the most exciting fixtures in the UK running calendar. We’d love to invite brands, charities and communities to help shape the future of the race by creating unforgettable legs, bringing in new audiences, and telling powerful stories.
Alongside North v South, we’re starting to design and deliver bespoke events for charities, corporates and brands – helping them fundraise, engage new audiences and turn participation into powerful brand storytelling.
And of course most importantly, we decide who is better…
North or South?
