Back in 1965, Ben Lyon, started making caving ladders, and to this day we still make caving ladders from our state of the art facility at Tebay in Cumbria.
You may find yourself talking, under the banner of Lyon Equipment Limited, to Lyon (Manufacturing), Lyon (Outdoors), Lyon (Cycle), Lyon (Watersports), Lyon (Work & Rescue), Lyon (Training) or the Petzl UK Agency, and with a team of 90 passionate staff we are here to give our customers the best possible service.
Today, we still manufacture for various markets and are a leading distributor of quality running, climbing, watersports, cycling and general “outdoor” equipment
Lyon Equipment is proud to be an employee owned business, with the transition across to full employee ownership completing in May 2022.
