RUN CLUBS ASSEMBLE: THE UK’S HOTTEST NEW TEAM RUNNING CHALLENGE IS COMING TO A CITY NEAR YOU
Three major cities are about to get a new addition to their running calendar, and the stage is set for you and your crew to go the distance!
Launching on Saturday, 18th October 2025 in London’s Finsbury Park, the brand new Endure Relays Event Series will bring the high-energy buzz of team relay racing to three new major UK cities.
Endure Relays London marks the first of three new running events taking place in London, Birmingham and Manchester in the coming months. These form part of the new Endure Relays Series, sister events to the iconic 24-hour running event Endure24, which welcome thousands of runners annually in Reading and Leeds.
Running is a team sport at Endure Relays. With four hours on the clock and a rapid 2.5km course, the stage is set for you and your crew to go the distance. Whether you’re first-time fun runners or marathon vets, the only question that matters is: How Far Will You Go?
Each scenic 2.5km course is built with speed in mind, mixing runnable paths and trails to showcase the very best that each urban park location has to offer. This is a race against the clock, so tactics are everything! Do you go out hard, banking rapid laps with limited rest in between? Or aim for a team negative split, managing your efforts before a late kick? However you run it, the clock never stops, so it’s time to get scheming!
Everyone is welcome at Endure Relays! Whether you’re a ‘one and done’ powerhouse or a long-distance cruiser, there’s a spot for you in the ranks. Run 13 laps as a team to bank a 20-miler, 17 for the Marathon, and for the ultimate challenge, complete 20 laps to achieve the hallowed 50k Ultra!
Nick Tuppen, CEO at Threshold Sports, said:
“Running communities have boomed in the last 5 years. They are built on support, sociability and running as a group experience. However, the vast majority of races are all about solo efforts. This new format is designed from the bottom up to suit the full spectrum of running clubs and communities across the UK. We had over 900 teams, clubs and crews join us on Endure24 events this summer and we can’t wait to bring the Endure relay vibe to cities for the first time”.
