The True Athlete Project: Register to attend the Athlete Sangha Mindfulness & Meditation with Will Kabat-Zinn this Thursday!

On Thursday, June 26th at 7:45pm BST we invite you to a special edition of our Athlete Sangha, a monthly gathering designed to support your mindfulness journey.

In Sanskrit, sangha means community, and that’s exactly what this space is about. Each month, we come together as a TAP family, board members, mentors, mentees, team members, and friends, to pause, breathe, and reconnect.

This month’s session will be guided by a special guest facilitator (details below), and includes a guided meditation followed by optional sharing. There’s no need to prepare anything or bring prior experience, this isn’t a formal class, but rather a gentle, welcoming space to practice presence and connection.

Whether you’re new to mindfulness or have a regular practice, all are welcome. We’d love to see you there.

About Will:

Will Kabat-Zinn, MA, has been practicing meditation for more than two decades and has spent extended time in silent retreat both in the US and in Burma. He is passionate about helping people put into practice and experience for themselves the liberating power of mindfulness. Will has taught mindfulness and other meditative practices to diverse populations—including incarcerated youth, educators, scientists, law enforcement officers, parents, and business and technology leaders—and spent a year as an executive in residence at the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business. He conducts regular retreats and practice intensives around the country and in Europe and leads a local meditation community in Berkeley where he lives with his wife and two children.
