Thanks to you awesome folk, we have now planted 50,000 trees!

Here’s the impact we’ve made together:

50,000 trees change lives, supports habitats and helps fight global warming.
We’ve conquered 2490 races and challenges and planted 50,000 trees by running, walking or rolling over 22,600 miles
We’ve created approximately 740 days of work for our tree-planting communities
Our seeded medals saved 144Kg of waste ending up in landfill…the equivalent of 18.8 weeks of household rubbish for one person
Our trees will grow to provide enough oxygen for 7,100 people
They will offset the CO2e of 55,103 days of driving* or, 108 return flights from London to Hong Kong!
Our trees will grow to absorb 457,950,000 gallons of water per year (which will help fight natural disasters and protect our coasts)
They will offer habitats for over 15,000,000 animals, birds and reptiles
We’ve planted enough trees to cover 166 football fields or, as a comparison to help you visualise it, it’s the same number of trees as at the National Memorial Arboretum, in Staffordshire, in the UK.

We are so amazed and chuffed to pieces. In 2020, Earth Runs began with the goal to turn your miles into trees to help save the planet that we all love, and here we are, 50,000 trees later!
