Scimitar and njuko integrate to support event organisers

An integration between race registration platform njuko and custom event merchandise supplier Scimitar is designed to help event organisers streamline operations and increase revenue.

The partnership combines njuko’s registration technology with Scimitar’s specialism in event apparel and merchandise. It allows merchandise, such as training and finisher t-shirts, to be easily added to event registration flows.

According to Scimitar, its business model gives organisers commission rates between 10-30% on revenues, while it assumes 100% of stock risk.

Scimitar manages the merchandise process, including design, logistics, warehousing and customer service. Event organisers can also access real-time sales and merchandise data via njuko.

Scimitar supplies sportswear for brands such as adidas, HOKA, Saucony and ASICS. The company says its focus is on sustainable products, such as t-shirts made from recycled materials.
