Sidas: Tom Evans ‘toes the line’ in Sidas at Ultra-Trail Snowdonia

Our recent weekend out at Ultra-Trail Snowdonia By UTMB® provided a superb opportunity to meet consumers to chat about all things trail and ultra running, about our brand and our products.

Customers were snapping up items from our foot care and protection range with key sellers being the Toe Caps, Foot care Kits, Anti Friction Cream and Recovery Cryo Gel.

A highlight was how well our sock range was received and to see them on the feet of runners toeing the line.

The tried, tested & trusted line isn’t just ‘marketing spin’… when getting into position to capture the start of the 50K race we spotted Tom Evans (Adidas Terrex/Red Bull) heading to the starting enclosure sporting a familiar logo on his socks! Chatting to Tom after the event it turns out he purchased the Trail Protect socks online, a few weeks before.

Tom went on to claim the win in the race, and we managed to capture him running in for the tape wearing our Trail Protect socks! We look forward to seeing Tom competing at the Western States Endurance Run.
