Foundation Member – RunTogether
RunTogether, created by England Athletics, provides fun, friendly, supportive and inclusive running opportunities for everyone in England.
RunTogether Groups are organised, social runs/jogs with other people, led by qualiﬁed Run Leaders. All RunTogether Leaders are trained and insured by England Athletics.
The idea of RunTogether is that running / jogging is more fun and easier to become part of a lifestyle when shared with others. RunTogether is a great social connector, bringing existing and new friendships together and helping create stronger and more resilient communities.
RunTogether Groups are suitable for all abilities and categorised to help runners decide which is the right level for them.
· Get Me Started
These sessions are for beginner runners/ joggers, or for those that have not run for a while and want a gentle introduction. There is no minimum standard or level of experience. It’s ﬁne to walk a bit, jog a bit, walk a bit more.
· Keep Me Going
These runs are suitable for people who generally run at least twice per month and feel comfortable running/jogging around 5km without stopping.
· Challenge Me
These run sessions are for runners who typically run at least once every week and are looking to increase their pace and / or running distance
