adidas TERREX unveils the new Skychaser AX5 GORE-TEX

Built for those looking to take their hiking experience to the next level

adidas TERREX continues its commitment to supporting outdoor exploration with its newest addition to the Skychaser family, the adidas TERREX Skychaser AX5 GORE-TEX.

Designed to provide the protection, control and comfort every adventurer needs to take their hiking experience to the next level, the Skychaser AX5 GORE-TEX represents an entry point to the Skychaser franchise, adidas TERREX’s most technical hiking shoe range. To ensure a snug, reliable fit while out on the trails, the Skychaser AX5 GORE-TEX debuts a new internal construction, featuring two foam pods integrated on both sides of the heel lining to provide a locked-down feeling and comfort when traversing difficult conditions. This is complemented by a new lining that surrounds the heel, which protects the shoe’s GORE-TEX layer from abrasion.

Alongside its new internal construction, the Skychaser AX5 GORE-TEX features a LIGHTMOTION midsole – made from a lightweight EVA foam – that provides cushioning for all-day comfort and responsiveness in a range of environments. Its Continental™ rubber outsole, built with 4mm lugs, provides traction in both wet and dry conditions, while the shoe’s GORE-TEX layer is guaranteed to keep adventurers dry, with an abrasion-resistant upper for added protection from hard wear.
