After the roaring success of Quid Games I: The Dark Edition in January at Broughton Hall, British Orienteering and SportsShoes.com are back with the next unmissable instalment: SportsShoes Quid Games II: Storm the Castle.

Taking place in November as part of Kendal Mountain Festival, the race takes over the Friday evening of the Festival and will once again push the boundaries.

Think big brand sponsors like ASICS and Silva and being powered by Red Bull, Quid Games II will bring together cutting-edge performance, tactical navigation, and high-octane adventure in a format designed to captivate both runners and spectators alike.

Competitors will have to think fast, move smart, and navigate tactically as they race against the clock through the streets, parks, and hidden corners of Kendal. Every checkpoint comes with points, prizes, and exclusive brand swag — but the catch is that the checkpoints remain secret until the race begins. Routes are self-chosen, time penalties are harsh, and victory will belong not just to the fastest but to the most strategic. Expect the best of the trail, fell, athletic and orienteering world to be there competing against the everyday heroes. Egos and awards get pushed to the side as the concept shakes up the field, which checkpoint to go for first? Which route is optimum? There’s only one way to find out – that’s to be a part of it.
