Limassol Marathon announces XM as New Title Sponsor
The Limassol Marathon, the largest sports event in Cyprus, is gaining a valuable partner. The event will now be named “XM Limassol Marathon”, marking the beginning of a strategic collaboration with XM, one of the world’s leading financial services providers.
The partnership agreement was signed on Monday, May 26th, during an event attended by representatives of XM and the organizers of the Limassol Marathon. This partnership confirms the dynamic growth and recognition that the Limassol Marathon has achieved in recent years, both in Cyprus and internationally.
Mr. Spyros Spyrou, Chairman of the Limassol Marathon Board, noted in his welcome speech:
“The collaboration with XM opens a new and exciting path for the Limassol Marathon. A journey filled with prospects, solidarity, and an international footprint. XM is a pioneer in corporate social responsibility initiatives and is an enthusiastic ally in our mission. Our goal is for the Limassol Marathon to promote not only sports but also international visibility for Limassol, volunteerism, inclusivity, and environmental awareness. With XM, we aim to raise the bar even higher and offer runners an even stronger experience, while giving even more back to society.”

As part of its social mission, the XM Limassol Marathon is strengthening its spirit of solidarity this year. With respect and dedication to the principles of social contribution, each participant will have the option, during registration, to add a small symbolic amount to their entry fee. This amount will be fully donated to support a non-profit organization that helps vulnerable social groups in Cyprus. A small act from each of us can make a big difference for many.
Through this initiative, the XM Limassol Marathon reinforces its role as a major platform of giving, actively promoting the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility, with the involvement of the entire running community.
